LaLiga and StadioPlustogether with Vegas City Limited, have announced today the signing of a strategic license agreement to carry out a joint project in the Decentraland metaverse. StadioPlus is the Spanish company that provides technology and advice to the sports industry to connect it with the Web3 world, while Vegas City Limited is a company specialized in creating experiences based on the metaverse and blockchain.
Thus, with the aim of getting closer to the new generations and promoting interaction with fans from all over the world, LaLiga has signed a license agreement with StadioPlus for the use of LaLiga’s Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights and their exploitation in the Decentraland metaverse. Through this agreement, a series of LaLiga-themed plots of land will be exploited within the district of Vegas City, which owns the areas of
Decentraland’s largest sports, games and entertainment.
