Milwaukee Bucks, an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee, has confirmed the launch of a collection of NFT or non-fungible tokens which will be called the “Fear the Deer” NFT collection. The NFT Collection is meant to be fan-focused and will provide users with access to the “next generation” of sports memorabilia.

The launch of the NFT collection was confirmed via a new report who also confirmed that the “first 20,000 Milwaukee Bucks fans can claim a FREE collectible digital poster at the Fiserv Forum when the Bucks snitch the Clippers on April 1.” It’s also important to note that there will be a special auction to celebrate the team’s NBA championships which begin on April 8. “Fans can bid on an ultra-rare digital collectible redeemable for a bespoke championship ring,” the official announcement confirmed.
The new Milwaukee Bucks NFT collection was designed in partnership with the NFT marketplace and the Sweet distribution platform. As for the free digital collectible posters, the announcement confirmed that they will be provided to attendees of the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Clippers game at Fiserv Forum on Friday, April 1.

As this Fear the Deer NFT experience continues to unfold, fans will have access to new collections, exclusive digital merchandise, and the ability to unlock real world perks and other rewards to enhance their experience.
One of the collections slated for release includes the “Championship Collection” which will consist of three exclusive pieces, “each commemorating winning the 2021 NBA title.” In addition, there are also plans to auction off two limited sets of rare NFT rings that aim to honor the Bucks’ championship wins in 1971 and 2021.
